Ellicom was awarded the Mérite commercial Desjardins in recognition of its growth, achievements and innovative spirit. This competition held by the Chambre de commerce de Québec celebrates the dynamism and success of businesses based in the Capitale-Nationale, Kamouraska and Chaudière-Appalaches regions.

“High-Tech” category. This award from the Chambre de commerce de Québec is presented to a high-tech business that has achieved outstanding performance in the following areas: investment, job creation, innovation, quality of its products and services, growth, development strategy and financial health.

“Business of the Year” category. This award from the Chambre de commerce de Québec recognizes the outstanding success of one of the region’s boldest, most dynamic and most creative businesses.

“Online Training” category. With this award, the Office québécois de la langue française recognized the quality and vitality of the French version of the project “Transfer of the intellectual capital of our commercial lines underwriters: vector of performance,” which was developed with AXA Canada.

International award in the “Interactive Media” category for the bilingual project “Risky Business,” which was developed for the National Capital Commission (NCC). With its focus on knowledge transfer, this risk management training solution provides NCC employees with tools to strengthen their ability to identify, assess and manage the risks they routinely face in carrying out their duties.

“Online Training and Knowledge Management” category for the bilingual training solution “Promoting the brand promise,” a joint Ellicom/Air Canada project. In addition to meeting stringent industry standards, the program helped effectively deliver training to a large number of flight service directors who are constantly travelling.

“Online Training and Knowledge Management” category for the interactive “e-learning program for the training industry” project, which was developed in collaboration with the Quebec Graphic Communications Sector Workforce Committee. This training program for the printing industry has helped to significantly reduce raw material waste while optimizing the transfer of expertise to new employees.

“French in IT” category for the project “Transfer of the intellectual capital of our commercial lines underwriters: vector of performance.” This nomination testifies to the high quality of the French version of this joint Ellicom/AXA Canada project.

"Interactive Media — Training" category. This e-learning program, offered in French, English and Spanish, was developed for Bombardier Transport to facilitate faster integration of the company's new employees.

"Interactive Media — Training" category. Developed for Desjardins Financial Security to improve thier process for listening to clients, this e-learning program provides company employees with the tools to better serve members and increase thier satisfaction with Desjardins' services.

"Web environment: collaboration or participation" category. Developed in collaboration with TECHNOCompétences, the website "HRlearning.ca" gives HR managers the opportunity to hone thier skills, allowing them to better meet the needs of thier business.

"Online training and knowledge management" category. The "Transfer of the intellectual capital of our commercial lines underwriters: vector of performance" program is distinguished by its innovative approach and complete e-learning environment. Developed for AXA Canada, this e-learning program helps to strengthen the capture and transfer of employees' intellectual capital.

"Animation and games" category. Developed by Ellicom's sister company ODD1, "CatchMe! if you can" is a tribute to classic arcade games designed for the latest Apple dvices, iPhone and the iPod touch.

"IT project management" category. Ellicom worked with the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport to deliver the Charlemagne project, a program aimed at simplifying and facilitating access to government services. Implementation posed a major challenge, as the project replaced five mission-critical systems and covered three of the Ministère's administrative areas. Both parties rose to the occasion to meet this challenge.

"Online training and knowledge management" category. Developed for Bombardier Transportation, the "New employee orientation" e-learning project provides learners with an overview of Bombardier Transportation and a virtual visit through its manufacturing process.

"IT in culture, education and the media". After the success of Version 1, "Le tapis rouge 2.0." was developed for TECHNOCompétences. This version introduces high school students in grades 9, 10 and 11 to six new IT professions.

"Best Custom Content" category. This training solution developed in French, English and Spanish for Bombardier Transportation allowed the company to substantially reduce the time spent training new employees.

"Emerging Visionary Business" category of the Trophees Vision, awarded by the Chambre de commerce de Quebec in collaboration with the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec, recognizes a business's strong growth and vision during the last three years.

"Excellence in Learning" category. Ellicom developed a mixed e-learning solution for the Comité sectoriel de main-d'oeuvre des services automobiles, on the legal and financial aspects of selling and renting automobiles. This training was a resounding success and an example of best practices.

"Online training and knowledge management" category for the mixed e-learning solution on the legal and financial aspects of selling and renting automobiles. The innovative approach ensures knowledge transfer through a learner's guide and an online environment.

"Online training and knowledge management" category for the mixed e-learning program entitled "Formation autonome sur les aspects juridiques et financiers des ventes dans le secteur automobile" (self-training on the legal and financial dimensions of automobile sales). Sales advisors enjoy the learning method used, which enables them to carry out their training in their work environment while still providing excellent service to their clients.

"French in IT" category. Language quality was a priority for the self-training on the legal and financial dimensions of automobile sales project developed for the Comité sectoriel de main-d'oeuvre des services automobiles.

"Excellence in Learning" category. Ellicom developed a mixed e-learning solution for the Comité sectoriel de main-d'oeuvre des services automobiles, on the legal and financial aspects of selling and renting automobiles. This training was a resounding success and an example of best practices.
